Released August 19, 2026
New Features
- New File Dashboard - In Xodo Toolbar mode, a new dashboard is available to help users get started quicker! With easy access to recently open files, and selected tools available to get your workflow started quicker, this new dashboard should give users a great fresh place to start. Can return to the dashboard at anytime using the home button next to document tabs
Enhancements
- Snapshot Tool - Improved the Print Selected Graphics option to handle documents with non-standard crop box and view settings
- Feedback Surveys - Switched to a new, more robust survey system for handling feedback
- Improved Usage Statistics - Added and improved usage heuristics for users who have opted to allow anonymous usage data collection. Ensured collection preferences change immediately upon toggling the setting
Bug Fixes
- New Toolbar Cutoff - improved UI of the new Xodo Toolbar cutting off text at smaller window sizes
- Documents in New Windows - fixed handling of opening documents in new frames in the new Toolbar UI when the 'open documents in tabs' setting is unselected
- Linux graphics-dependent - our new composite-based text search highlight did not correctly render in some limited Linux graphics environments. Provided a vmoption workaround for this limited user subset to return to our legacy text search highlight
- Document Specific - improved ability to load a malformed document that causes signature panel to load incorrectly
- Document Specific - better handling of a malformed document with a PDFNull in a Form X Object where a PDFDictionary was expected
- Improved retaining of anonymous usage selection from the installer in certain cases
- Fixed an issue with interface hanging in the case of an issue with some remote configuration
