Faster, Simpler PDF Workflows

This end of March, we are introducing a set of PDF workflow updates that make Xodo faster to use, easier to navigate, and more capable on every platform. These changes help users spend less time hunting through menus and switching apps, and more time actually finishing their work in one place. Across Xodo PDF Reader, Xodo Mobile Android, and Xodo Mobile iOS, the focus is on making core tools more visible, reducing friction in everyday tasks, and turning simple viewing sessions into productive editing, translation, and text extraction workflows.

Xodo PDF Reader: Simplified Toolbar

Xodo PDF Reader now surfaces nine essential tools directly in the main document view, including comment, rotate pages, annotate, redact, and save. This reduces time spent in menus and makes it easier to act on documents as you read them. Users who prefer the previous layout can still switch back to the original toolbar. Learn more.

Xodo Mobile Android: In App Document Translation

On Xodo Mobile Android, you can translate entire PDFs in the viewer with a single tap, while keeping layout and formatting intact. This removes the need to export files or rely on separate translation tools. Translated versions are saved as new documents in your working language. Learn more.

Xodo Mobile iOS: OCR in the Viewer

On Xodo Mobile iOS, paid users can now run OCR directly from the viewer to extract text from scanned PDFs, receipts, or photos. This makes OCR easier to find and use at the moment you are viewing the page. Free users see the OCR option in the viewer and can decide whether to upgrade if they need it.
