New Features - The Xodo Toolbar (In Progress) 

A significant overhaul of the Xodo user interface, the new Xodo Toolbar introduces a transition from the classic ribbons layout to a more modern toolbardesign.  As this toolbar is in progress with some features yet to come, users will continue to start with the ribbon UI by default.

• UI Toggle - Easily toggle between the new toolbar and the classic ribbons with a toggle at the upper right of the UI.  This will restart your interface with your currently open documents intact so you can seamlessly give the new toolbar a try!
• Modern Navigation - A cleaner workspace layout for your documents and workflow
• Enhanced Tool Access - Direct access to annotations, markups, drawing, convert options, and page view controls with more tools to come!
• New File Dashboard - Quick start your workflow with select tools, or open recent files to continue your progress. Can return to the dashboard at anytime using the home button next to the document tabs
• Feedback Button - Available directly in the toolbar, users can give their thoughts on the new design to help us continue to improve our new UI.  We're aware that not all features are currently available in the new toolbar yet, but feedback on the effectiveness of the toolbar design in general on your workflow is much appreciated

Enhancements 

• Improved OCR Performance - OCRing with the "Auto Deskew Images" option selected took a significant performance hit when we updated the java version we packaged with.  This has been resolved
• Snapshot Tool - Improved the Print Selected Graphics option to handle documents with non-standard crop box and view settings
• Improved Usage Statistics - Added and improved usage heuristics for users who have opted to allow anonymous usage data collection.  Ensured collection preferences change immediately upon toggling the setting

Bug Fixes 

• Linux graphics-dependent - our new composite-based text search highlight did not correctly render in some limited Linux graphics environments.  Provided a vmoption workaround for this limited user subset to return to our legacy text search highlight
• Document Specific - improved ability to load a malformed document that causes signature panel to load incorrectly
• Document Specific - better handling of a malformed document with a PDFNull in a Form X Object where a PDFDictionary was expected
• Improved retaining of anonymous usage selection from the installer in certain cases
• Fixed an issue with interface hanging in the case of an issue with some remote configurations
