How to Use the Translate Document Feature on Xodo Mobile (Android)

Xodo’s Mobile’s New Translate Document feature allows you to quickly convert PDF content into different languages directly from your mobile device. Follow the steps below to start translating your files.

Accessing the Translation Tool

1. Open Xodo Mobile: Launch the app on your device.

2. Navigate to the Toolbox: Locate and tap the Toolbox icon on the bottom navigation bar.

3. Locate the Tool: Scroll through the available tools until you find Translate Document. This feature is currently highlighted with a "New" badge for easy identification.
   
   

Selecting and Configuring Your Document

1. Choose a File: After tapping the tool, select the document you wish to translate. You can pick a file from your Recent Files list or browse your device’s File Directory.

2. Set Source Language: Once the file is loaded, you have two options for the original language:

   • Auto-Detect: Allow Xodo to automatically identify the source language.

   • Manual Selection: Manually select the specific source language from the dropdown menu.

3. Set Target Language: Select the language you would like the document to be translated into.
   
   

Completing the Process

1. Generate the File: Once languages are confirmed, Xodo will process the document. A new version of your file will be created in the selected target language.

2. View Results: You can now open the newly translated document to read and review the content.
