PDF Document Tags

The PDF format defines a standard set of tag types that can be applied to a PDF. These standard types are designed to help accessibility software like screen readers understand the document structure to present the information to the user in an understandable way.

Tags Panel Explorer - View the tag tree structure of the document

Create Document Tag - Create a new document level tag

Create Content Tags - Create tags from existing document content

Edit Tags - Edit existing tags in the document

Set Alternative Text - Set alternative text for figures, shapes or other languages
