Change to Google's text-to-speech engine
Step 1:
Open your device's Settings and then open the Language and input setting located under the System heading.
Step 2
Open the Text-to-speech options under the Speech heading.

Change the Preferred TTS engine to Google's Google Text-to-speech Engine.

How to Clear Data in Samsung's text-to-speech engine
Step 1
Go to your device's Application Manager, located within Settings under the Applications heading.
Step 2:
Within the Application Manager, navigate to the All tab to list all of your device's applications. Then scroll down to the Samsung text-to-speech engine and tap it to open it.

Step 3:
Press Clear Data. You are done here so feel free to carry on with where you left off above!
