Sharing files via email

One of Xodo's key features is that you can share files with anyone with an email address and access to a web browser, regardless of whether they're Xodo users or not. You can choose specific users to allow them read-only or annotation rights to your document. You have to have a Xodo account to share files with others.

1. From the BOOKSHELF tab, click the file you want to share.

2. Click the Share icon.

You can also access sharing options while viewing a document, on the top navigation bar.

3. In the Share dialog, enter the emails of your collaborators into the Enter email field. You can use the toggle to allow them to annotate the document (check mark with the toggle button on the right side) or view-only permissions (X mark with the toggle button on the left side).

4. Click Add a message to write a message to your collaborators. Then click Invite.

5. The emails of your collaborators now appear under PersonYou can use the toggle to allow them to annotate the document (check mark with the toggle button on the right side) or view-only permissions (X mark with the toggle button on the left side). You can also click Remove to revoke a collaborator's access from the document. Click Update Access to complete sharing the document.

6. You can access this dialog at any time to edit a document's sharing permissions.
