Palm rejection when writing with pen
It is natural to rest the palm on the paper/device/surface while writing with a pen...Currently we can't properly write because our hands' palms interrupt the pen input. Please add palm rejection / palm recognition !

Pressure sensitive inking
I do a lot of handwritten notes at the sides of pdf docs. It would be a more natural experience if psi was supported like in one note.

Custom annotation tools (buttons)
I would be fantastic to be able to define the annotations tools shown in the toolbar. Just like Okular does.
The idea is to customize the buttons shown in the annotation toolbar. Yo could define an "#0000ff 80% opacity underline" as your first tool, a "#ff0000 80% opacity underline" as your second tool, a "#ffff00 100% opacity highlight", etc.
As the number of buttons in screen is limited there must be a "More" or "Plus" button in order to show the rest of the tools and to access to the customization screen.
The benefits would be:

518 votesHi there,
Thanks for your awesome feedback! Defining exact hex color value, entering exact thickness/opacity/text size value is now available in Xodo beta! See http://feedback.xodo.com/knowledgebase/articles/1119511-change-style-of-an-annotation-color-thickness-o.
To enter exact color HEX value, see: http://feedback.xodo.com/knowledgebase/articles/1849546-annotation-color-picker.
To define and select style presets, see: http://feedback.xodo.com/knowledgebase/articles/1851553-setting-an-annotation-style-preset
You can become our beta tester as described here: http://feedback.xodo.com/knowledgebase/articles/829551-becoming-a-beta-tester.
Just FYI, “more”/“plus” button for adding customized tools to toolbar is under review! Hopefully we can implement it in the future!
Cheers!

Lock zoom level
In other words, let the fixed zoom to the desired percentage.Could have an option to lock the zoom. For example, I want to lock the zoom at 100%, so I would like to read the entire file without modifying zoom. To lock or unlock the zoom could be used a padlock in the bottom-right corner for this option.
Then clicking on the padlock, lock the zoom (100% or 90% ...), clicking again unlocks.
Several times I am reading a file and it approaches 300%, so I have to keep adjusting every time it happens 150%.402 votes -
Add a "Save" button.
I am using android Xodo. When exiting the app, usually it saves the cloud files automatically, but sometime it does not. Please add a "Save" button to allow manually saving cloud files, or add a feature to remind users to save files when exiting. That way we can make sure we won't lost our work.

Quick color option for highlighting
Hi, now learning all about highlighting because just got a Samsung tab s 8.4 and I'm now reading a lot of pdfs for uni, have tried about 10 different apps for android and this is by far the best/quickest. I mark most text in one color, but often I want to chose a "headline" color, this requires two clicks, and then I have to change back when marking next part, so 4 clicks just to mark a specific word as extra important - what I would like is to be able to preset a specific color as a "headline colour"…

Text recognition OCR
It would be nice if we had the ability to recognize text in a PDF so we could use the commenting tools properly. I currently use adobe to recognize text and then upload to Google drive to use in Xodo.

Can you add connectivity to Box to grab files, much in the way you have it for Google Drive and Dropbox now?

Crop photos and annotations
I want to be able to crop an annotation that I add (like a photo or a digital sticker). I want to have both a rectangular crop and a free hand crop option!

stylus eraser support
Most styluses have an eraser on the rear end. It would be nice if using the eraser would actually erase (a) either whole notes or (b) just parts of pen strokes, without manually selecting the eraser tool by just flipping the stylus over.

Allow users to turn off auto-save option
I would like to be able to turn off the auto-save option when opening pdf files. Sometimes you don't want to save the pdf but just open it.

Pinch to zoom out to thumbnail view
It is convenient to just pinch to make a page smaller and further pinch to get an overview of all pages as thumbnails. Please consider implementing this productivity sensitiv feature.
You do a great job.

Rotate text
Sometimes my notes dont fit in the margin space of my documents but I still want to see it without using the comment bubble. The option to rotate the text box so my note would fit sideways in the margin would be great.

Create bookmarks readable in other applications
I would like to be able to create bookmarks using Xodo that are readable by other applications such as Adobe Acrobat, Kami, etc. The excellent iAnnotate app on iOS has this ability. Its bookmarks appear under a main "Branchfire" heading in all other apps. In the Xodo web app, these bookmarks appear in the 'outline' tab.
Perhaps add the option for users to move 'bookmarks' to the 'outline'?
I selected 'Android' for the category of this suggestion, but it really applies to all platforms.

Volume key navigation
I read PDF documents on a phablet / tablet. Other reading apps (Instapaper, Pocket, Play Books, iBooks, old Repligo reader) support volume button page turning, so I can comfortably hold the device with one hand and flip pages without having to tap awkwardly or use my other hand or to flip pages.
I would love a settings option to support paging with volume buttons which would be ideal for a Nexus 6, Note 4, iPhone 6 Plus or other popular phablet.94 votes
