Fit to page width
The default display mode when the device is in landscape position should be Fit to page width, not Fit to page height, as it stands now. (I don't know for small devices, but at least for tablets with high resolution.)

Thanks everyone for your feedback! We’ve added fit to page width feature! You can toggle on fit to page with in the Settings → Page View Mode→ Fit Page Width.
Thanks for using Xodo and for taking the time to let us know how to make it even better.

As a workaround for the Windows version, if you click View Mode then toggle Vertical Scrolling, it will fit the current document to the width.

I can't believe that it is not in the Windows version, even yet. As ALL power users know that is the most basic setting...

This is such a basic setting for any PDF viewer. Please implement this!

As per Feb 2019, on my Windows 10 laptop, the default zoom is way too small. It would be important to add a setting so that one can decide the default zoom level when opening a new document (I like fit to width, others may like fit to height, etc...).

There should be a fit to content option as well, currently the cropping option is very nice, but some of us don't really want to crop/alter the pdf, just view it in cropped mode without actually cropping each page of it.

It is incredible that this functionality (for desktop at least) still hasn't been implemented. It is nothing complex, nothing hard, but VERY basic in it's nature for ANY pdf reader.
I really love using Xodo, but ADD THIS I beg you, why would anybody not want to add this?

至少pdf阅读器的大拿Adobe的手机端就支持自动横屏充满,很好的体验。其他很多的具有pdf阅读功能的APP,我还没体验,但相信也是如此。

I think at least there should be an option that the PDF is open to fit page height or page width in default.

Default should be fit to width even in portrait mode

Zoom needs to work like Google Drive PDF reader!! It fits the screen perfectly in size. This would make the app exponentially more usable. Especially in editing.

Zoom to width is not working on Android 12.2 inch tabs (Samsung Note Pro). If I double tap to zoom, it is larger than the screen size and you have to drag the file all over the screen to read it. It becomes a little painful so you have to zoom out, but that's too small!

Even with latest.. seems ok on Android.. but on iPhone (iTouch 5th gen).. it fits to height irrespective of any settings :-(

Now it's fitted width; but we must turn the device portrait to landscape first :-/ otherwise it opens old small page view..
