Add a "Save" button.
I am using android Xodo. When exiting the app, usually it saves the cloud files automatically, but sometime it does not. Please add a "Save" button to allow manually saving cloud files, or add a feature to remind users to save files when exiting. That way we can make sure we won't lost our work.

Think I need to stop using this after losing all my edits...
Extremely frustrated obviously, why not add a save button? -

This would be helpful on the windows app as well. It is not intuitive to get back to the place where you SAVE pages.

Can't find anything about autosave in settings. (Is it on or isn't it?) I don't always want to only save a copy! Updating the file using the original filename should be the default, so we need a "save" button, as well as a "save as" button.

I agree with this. I mainly work from dropbox files and saving a copy requires I save it to the local disk, so it's very inconvenient. Unfortunately, the app crashes every once in a while and I lose all my work. My "workaround" is to close the document every so often so it saves--it doesn't save at all otherwise. That way if it crashes, I at least have something. But this is painful and unnecessary...

Workaround:
Save a copy
Save exact copy
Chose folder to save
(program propones the same filename with a "(1)" added)
delete the "(1)"
click OK
(program says "The filename exists chose another one)
Click OK
Your file is saved. Name not changed. -

App shouldn't save anything to the cloud copy unless the 'autosave' or 'autosync' feature is turned on or else, everything better be saved when user intended to do so. Think that I'm emphasising just a word on document and 50 MB of data is starting to be uploaded to Google Drive. This is literaly insane! This makes any kind of annotation impossible on relatively large sized documents. Autosync feature should be left to the users as an option and they should be able to save the documents whatever point they like.

The number of times I have lost work because of unstable autosave, is just UNACCEPTABLE! Yes, I want to shout: UNACCEPTABLE!!! I'm so happy with Xodo and have recommended it to so many people, used it in so many projects, and got all my students to use it. But now I will have to migrate to something else. Because I just cant afford ít anymore to loose my annotations.

Please add a save button, it's the only way to be sure that all the notations are saved at the end. Really really needed

auto save, which is good, but has a save button, should be for sure and more confident
