How can we make Xodo even better?

Add a "Save" button.

I am using android Xodo. When exiting the app, usually it saves the cloud files automatically, but sometime it does not. Please add a "Save" button to allow manually saving cloud files, or add a feature to remind users to save files when exiting. That way we can make sure we won't lost our work.

Workaround: Click android task-overview button and xodo will automatically save.

Although the app automatically saves to the cloud, I have had to redo numerous annotations as this does not happen often enough. Please add a save button. It will really help to alleviate a major frustration point with the app.

I wold like to see Xodo stop auto saving and let the user be reminded if changes have not been saved.

I have to type extensive notes on customers to a pdf and then get it signed by them before we go our separate ways. when I attempt to save the document by closing it, %80 of the time it doesn't save and I have to retype up notes and meet again with the customer to get a signature before deadline. I found a work around by saving as an identical copy to make sure it saves changes. Besides the obvious inconvenience, this work around also creates a lot of unnecessary clutter on my phone. we need "save" as well as "save as" (incase someone needs to save a copy) that is something the app needs in the first place.

has anyone else noticed that editing the same document over and over just increases the file size forever? even if you delete everything, all the data that has ever been saved with that file is "saved" somewhere within the file. Its extremely frustrating.

forgot one thing. it is annoying to save the file as copy - name it different - delete the old version - rename it again to actual name... over and over and over again.

if there should be an auto save function i have to announce: it does not work ! ... how can such a simple elementary key function like saving a file be missing in such an App. please add a save button.

Some guys pointed out, that there is already an automatic save. But the save butten shouldn't replace that. Its only to have controle about where and when to save something, for exampel as pre-version.

Just lost 1 hour of work due to the lack of saving function. What a dark mark against an app that's so good in other ways.

Same here. I worked on lots of PDF-files on my old tablet. Now having to migrate those files edited in Xodo to my new tablet seems to be quite difficult. How about listening to this core demand from your customers that keeps appearing here for over 2 years already? That would be great! Thanks!

I lost all my work (two days corrrecting a huge PDF for the publisher) because the update to the cloud went wrong, due to an internet interruption. Both in the cloud and on my tablet the 'saved file' was corrupted and could not be opened. Terrible! A button to save the file regularly would have made all the difference!

Curiously, Xodo does not have a simple "save" option. I know the program autosaves your changes, but there are bugs and for the second time now I thought I had all my changes saved, but they were only saved to the pdf file when I chose save as copy (I had to reopen the file and then save as identical copy). Unfortunately, the first time I lost all my annotations because I thought they were autosaved in the file, so I cut and pasted it to a PC folder, only to find that most of my late annotations were *not* saved. I lost days of work and almost uninstalled Xodo, my favorite Android pdf reader. This could be solved simply by adding a "save" option to the submenu.

in my opinion the autosave works fine but in addition to that you could add a save button so those who had this bad experience can be sure its saved

I lost all my work even the app telling me that he saved the changes. We can't trust on the app because we don't have the garantee that everythig is saved.

if we don't have that, what's the point on using Xodo?

The same problem occurs to me too. Several hours of editing vanished, and it has happening several times. Please solve the problem ASAP.
