Add a "Save" button.
I am using android Xodo. When exiting the app, usually it saves the cloud files automatically, but sometime it does not. Please add a "Save" button to allow manually saving cloud files, or add a feature to remind users to save files when exiting. That way we can make sure we won't lost our work.

Haven't you dev guys ever use the app personally? -

work around : open other document in different tab, tab other document when you are progressing in your annotation, xodo will automatically save the document. Just make sure you are not tab after annotate too much to avoid probability of freeze and unsave state. You will know the rhythm after several trials. I already using this work around almost 4 years, since my old device to my newest device now (Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+). However I will still vote for this !

PLEASE. ADD. A. SAVE. BUTTON. TO. THE. APP. The windows app has a save button, but i am getting really tired of losing my edits from my tablet and then having to go back in and rewrite them in the app becauese the auto save when you close a document in the android app only has a 50% chance of actually updating and working.

SOLVED - three bars (top left) then click on "Recent" and the original document (with edits) saves.
I agree a save button would have been better!

Think I need to stop using this after losing all my edits...
Extremely frustrated obviously, why not add a save button? -

This would be helpful on the windows app as well. It is not intuitive to get back to the place where you SAVE pages.

Can't find anything about autosave in settings. (Is it on or isn't it?) I don't always want to only save a copy! Updating the file using the original filename should be the default, so we need a "save" button, as well as a "save as" button.

I agree with this. I mainly work from dropbox files and saving a copy requires I save it to the local disk, so it's very inconvenient. Unfortunately, the app crashes every once in a while and I lose all my work. My "workaround" is to close the document every so often so it saves--it doesn't save at all otherwise. That way if it crashes, I at least have something. But this is painful and unnecessary...

Workaround:
Save a copy
Save exact copy
Chose folder to save
(program propones the same filename with a "(1)" added)
delete the "(1)"
click OK
(program says "The filename exists chose another one)
Click OK
Your file is saved. Name not changed.
