How can we make Xodo even better?

Fast bookmark toggle button

It would be great to have a toggle bookmark feature with an icon similar to the current bookmark icon, on the toolbar, near it, with different colors when page has a bookmark or not. So that bookmarks would be more easy to access, without entering a separate window just for them, as many similar applications do.

Many people commenting here also are requesting this feature, just that they do it in comments to a closed feature request: http://feedback.xodo.com/forums/241992-general/suggestions/5621846-add-the-ability-to-create-bookmarks

Xodo augmented the navigation bar the bottom. I think this is a neat step (compatible with UI like amazon kindle). I think it would be neat to access it in annotation mode.

(Note: http://feedback.xodo.com/forums/241992-suggest-a-new-feature/suggestions/11735085-add-shortcuts-to-access-bookmarks is related to windows, this post is related to android).

Tl;Dr.: Look at this prototype example: http://bit.ly/2i8EVTP . Read what i wrote:

__Value__: 80% of xodo time, I spend in annotation mode. At the moment, bookmark access is extremley annoying: You have to exit the annotation mode (wait very short time), click on the bookmark button, search&select, and start annotation mode again (this all only to access one bookmark). As I use bookmarks frequently this is no pleasure.

__Implementation__: I see that you don't want to add to much to the annotation toolbar as it already is quite full. I also see, that you want the left, right swipe for moving pages, because that's most booklike and also it's much better, because most pages have a narrow format and the probabitly is high, that you have less to zoom to go for the next page. I also see, that you don't want to implement to difficult gestures, because a) it gets to difficult for people b) some touch screen don't have good enough multi touch.
The solution in my eyes is the following: Swype from the bottom to top (maybe left bottom to left top) to get a (floating when screen is big enough) bookmark menu. (see: http://bit.ly/2i8EVTP ) (note: move-gesture does no interfere with this, because you wouldn't use it on the absolute bottom).

Would be very nice if this comment would be commented on.

Gestures that can be used to access the bookmarks would be very useful in tablets. At the moment you have to reach to the top of the screen, draw down the menu, and then click on the bookmarks icon. A quick flick in a direction that doesn't move the page, two fingered swipe or something else would be beneficial for rapid navigation. Particularly in combination with the ability to remember your position.
