Continuously save document state
Currently, if a document I'm using is closed improperly, or even if I just switch briefly to another app, any changes I've made to the document disappear, including:
- highlights & annotations
- reading location
- font size
- currently open document
This is the ONLY app I've encountered on a modern mobile device that behaves this way. It makes this app unusable for all but the simplest tasks.

Symbol for highlights containing a note
When you add a note to a highlight, you later can’t tell the highlight contains a note without tapping on the highlight and selecting "note". It would be nice, if you could add a small symbol to such highlights, like it is the case in Acrobat in Windows. It would further be nice, if the content of the note would pop up when tapping the highlight, without first having to select "note" (or be shown at the bottom of the screen or something like that).
30 votesHi everyone,
Thank you very much for your suggestion! In our latest beta, we added symbol for highlights containing a note. You can become our beta user as described here: http://feedback.xodo.com/knowledgebase/articles/829551-becoming-a-beta-tester.
Thanks in advance for your support to Xodo! Cheers!

Copy selected text into Highlight, Cross-out, and Underline comment pop-ups.
For academics who use your wonderful app, this is an immensely useful option as almost all of the software tools that extract annotations from PDF require this.
Please visit this link: http://www.docear.org/support/user-manual/#pdf_editors which explains what exactly this feature is. I believe it will only take you a few tweaks in your code to enable it in your application.
Thanks,

Highlighter tool for scanned documents
Annotation of scanned documents is not easy - the highlighter does not work because it does not recognize the scanned text. Hence, I have to use drawing tool (which works but limits options for text highlighting).
It would be great if Xodo contained also free-drawing-highlighter.
21 votesThanks for the feedback! Free highlighting is available on Xodo. You can learn more about this here: http://feedback.xodo.com/knowledgebase/articles/1861231-highlighting-anything-on-a-document

Continuous Scroll
Please add option in Settings to select Horizontal Scroll or Continuous Sroll. Currently only Horizontal Scroll is available as the default setting.
Continuous scroll lets you browse PDF documents just like they’re web pages in a browser. You no longer need to flick through horizontal pages, each one is displayed vertically and you can scroll through them from the first to the last without having to tap a single button.
